Alex Sink has said she’ll decide about her political future in January – but in September of this year there was a flurry of activity on domains like: AlexSink2010.om, AlexSinkforGovernor.com, AlexSinkforFlorida.com and her old campaign domain AlexSinkforCFO.com. While we can’t be sure what this means or who did it – it looks like it was done by the same person.
All of the domains are registered privately at GoDaddy.com and they were all registered or updated from September 25 to September 30 – including the domain that Alex Sink used in 2006 in her race for CFO. Here is what is public information:
• On August 30, 2005: AlexinkSinkforCFO.com and AlexSinkforFlorida.com were registered. Alex Sink used the CFO domain for her campaign website.
• On September 24, 2008: AlexSinkforFlorida.com’s registration was updated.
• On, September 25, 2008: AlexSink2010.com and AlexSinkforGovernor.com were registered privately through GoDaddy.com like AlexSinkfoCFO.com.
• On September 30, 2008: AlexSinkforCFO.com’ registration was updated.
While we can’t know who registered the other domains – it would be a very odd coincidence if they were registered and updated by different people on the same site.
This could be is another sign that Alex Sink is looking to run Governor in 2010 – and there is no question Florida needs her more than ever.
