While Demcorats make it clear that we need to get to work to fix the budget the St. Pete Times quotes Charlie Crist claiming his way of governing is “a model for the country.”
A model of what? Not working?
Florida’s economy is one of the hardest hit in the nation and Charlie has held a press conference about “Accelerate Florida” to try and fix it. We have billions of dollars of shortfall in the budget and he ignores the Democratic calls for people to get to work now. The “People’s Governor” wants across the board cuts in every department that effect everyone in Florida, with not targeted cuts that will best help the people.
In an interview with Steve Bousquet, that you can listen to in full here, Charlie Crist continues to run away from his choice for President, John McCain, and heaps praise on Barack Obama. He also reiterates that people vote for “individual candidates” not the party.
He can’t run away from the Republican Party fast enough, but Charlie the Republican Party runs Florida — as you said. So you might want to try to convince your fellow Republicans to get to work in Tallahassee, we need to start spending less now, not months from now. Instead he has a political meeting in Miami, and ignores the looming budget crisis.
Everyone outside of Florida can only hope no one follows your governing style of all flair and no substance.

[...] Charlie Crist is busy trying boost himself, while many, including his own party, is beginnging to see Sink is right. [...]
